In my endeavour to scrape ALL the paint off my project, hey presto I've found the serial number as stamped on the chassis during assembly. Its located on the nearside next to the engine. Please see the pic's below.
Mine confirms the number as printed on the plate. Hope this will help other members :thumbup: Cheers Mark

Hi mark, does it have pugh as 1st owner on v5 ? Just wondering regards john

Hi John, First owner of this machine was Bob Froome. Guernsey 1974. Cheers Mark
