JCB 3C 3D 10 speed Gearboxs

I have never encountered a 10 speed gearbox that has a working high range. Why do these gearboxs lose high range and how do you repair them?

The high range section is usualy no trouble, the weak spot in the 10 speed is the reverse idler gear, in the diff its the star wheels and pin, to repair any fault in the high range is not hard to master.

I didnt know they came out in 10 speed, learn something new everyday, cheers lads :)
Enfield Logic: Who cares if the Mauser can handle a stronger cartridge? While you're still working you're Mauser action to make up for you're miss, my 2nd round is already there.
