Rare old Banger

Post #1 by tctractors » Wed Sep 14, 2011 9:42 pm

Today I have been working in a Farm Yard fettling a Case Poclain 588, anyhow all around me is masses of old tack, I must have counted at least 100 old tractors including a Bray-Sherman digger loader, I have been around a fair bit of Iron but I cannot recall ever spotting the likes of this old girl, the owner tells me its all for sale as long as its not to the Scrap man, he is not after any big coins all he wants is to save it, the place is like stepping back to the 1940's, I have taken a pic or 2 will post asap.

Here is a snap of the Sherman Excavator thing, and lying near it is this Adams Grader with the makers plate and serial number on it.

Yes that is a sudden accident 300 series 3 axle tractor unit gathering dust J.R. the place is heaving with old bangers, there must be well over a 100 farm billy chariots scattered about, plus Track Marshals Brays and who knows what littering the hedgelines, there is 4 or 5 Muir Hills dumped in a corner. also lots of those County things and E27N's with 6 pot motors, if you like old farm billy crap, this is as good as it gets.
