JCB 700 Backhoe, interesting.

Hello all, has anyone seen one of these before, looks like a very crude quick hitch system on the loader, very interesting.

yep sure is a 700. JCB produced quite a few of these back in the 60s and 70s. It used to have a counter weight on the rear, and as it says in the listing, its been removed and swapped for a backhoe. Im sure ive got a picture of one about somewhere in an old book ive got. I'll have a look and see if i can find it, and then will scan and upload!

The JCB700 was a 3D with parallel lift arms and 2D cab .... the one on ebay has had an old JCB 2 backhoe attached to it rather than the counter weight.
