Blimey David  great photos ...

image 38/39 .. well where did that come from :dizzy: what a mix match, 3Cmk1 body and loading arms .. i am sure that cab is off the project 205 machine .. 3Cmk2 backhoe and king post, the jack legs look as if they have been cut down, as they are too high for 2D jack legs and too low for the 3C jack legs .. oh yes 3Cmk2 front bucket ... story David ?

and that southern water powertrain, its not outside Sevenoaks swimming pool is it ?

Thanks David for posting

Martyn

Firstly i am glad you are all liking the photos , The JCB hybrid was spotted by a friend we don't know if it was a prototype of some kind as you can all see the mainframe part of the machine including the loader arms front grille seem to be 3C MK1 the front bucket is 3c mk2 and the rear end seems to be either jcb 3 mk2 or 3c mk2 the rear legs are like a 2d or 3 mk2 the cab i just don't know was it a prototype for an even later machine, the lamps on the front of the cab look like 3cx ones, so can anyone at JCB shed anymore light on this one.
Did you all spot the 3c mk with the light bucket and high lift loader arms that machine worked in a coal yard down in Newhaven, the JCB 3D's are all from the early 90's Carey and son had 3 of them working in Uckfield east sussex they had 2 x mk2 and 1 x mk 3 working on a pipeline, the other machine was run by a company called Plumbridge Contractors based down in Brighton, The 3c mk3 belonged to Southern Water and was being used in Hastings, I spotted the very late and very clean 3c mk1 in cyprus it was mint the climate is pretty kind to machines out there the MF50B and 50D machines were also in Cyprus. I still have loads more pictures to scan and as time permits i will put them on here, The John Deere was a pretty rare find down in Lewes on a curbing job in the 90's the other JD and Case machines were in San Francisco in the early 90's. If mr Webmaster is looking in it maybe worth adding a Gallery for Backhoe Loaders , Excavators, Cranes, Dozers. if you go onto the www.lifting-world.co.uk website you will see what i mean they have categorised galleries that work well - just an idea thought!! By the way i am selling quite a few models and at the moment just finished my website which is www.cranesdiggersanddozers.co.uk hopefully if enough people do searches it will climb up the google ladder for all to find at the moment it is difficult but do keep trying, i have also linked my site to this one and of course Matyns Henleys excellent website.
