Great scans Dan

Its always been a mystery to me how British companies came up with such great inventions like the WR8 and was never followed through ... now every thing is mini this and mini that :dizzy:

So true- I have read that the entire Japanese mini excavator industry is due to a few British Smalley 360s being imported into Japan and copied :)

The nearest I've seen to that one is this Ransomes MG with a blade.

There was also a machine with a crane jib IIRC mentioned in one of the magazine and offered in the small ads section that was built by Whitlock on a Ransomes MG tractor unit.

Not Whitlock but heres another ahead of its time version of the Ransomes MG crawler. I've never seen one before, but this one's for sale on E.Bay.
