Something you dont see evey day is a Turkish Hidromek backhoe loader! I spotted this example whilst in Spain earlier this year.

Note how closely it resembles a JCB backhoe loader!
Having said that Hidromek do use components from International Transmissions the external sales business of JCB Transmissions

Yes I had heard of those machines but have never seen one in the flesh!!

Anyone know how they compare to a JCB??

I did read in the last few years in Construction News that Hidromek were looking to expand further into Europe, looking to appoint UK dealers and that they werent daunted by trying to establish themselves in JCBs home market!

Ive seen these guys at the last two bauma and Intermat shows. They are expanding their line of products with hydraulic excavators. The machines look well built, but nobody cares what they look like when they are in the dirt.

As the name rolls off my tongue, I cant help but think about the Italian manufacturer Hydromac. Anybody out there have any Hydromac brochures to sell or swap?
