Could be 3c 2, The slew pots were definitely different on the 3c 3. We have 1 of each on the heritage railway, the 3c2 hasn't been in use for a good while.

I am still here Essex Pete, That looks like a JCB 2 or 2B to me they would normally have the a 3cyl engine, Slew pots will be at the top on the earlier machines, Is the build plate still on the digger its probably been painted over it will be somewhere on the right hand side under the loader arms, I havesome hand books which at the moment I cannot find, As soon as i have found them i will post more info.
