Running an hydraulic log splitter off a jcb 3c mk2

Post #1 by Gingernut » Fri Mar 06, 2020 4:13 pm

Hi
Im just about to take delivery of a functioniing but elderly 3c mk2. Amongst the many uses i have for it is to power my log splitter (made from a skip wagon ram.. I normally power it off my neighbours tractor). Its only fair to warn you that im a total jcb novice so may ask stupid questions!

Can anyone recommend the best place connect the splitter to the jcbs hydraulics and how to set the controls in the cab so i can leave it running while i operate the splitter.?
ideally id like to plumb in something permanent with quick release fittings so i can use other static hydraulic equipment.
any help or advice welcome..
Cheers

The jack pipes are usually smaller might that not hamper flow?
