JCB C3 MK2 back actor arm seal kit

Any body help me out here, i have just had the seals done on bucket ram from the back actor on a JCB C3 mk2.
I have also had the arm ram from the same machine,,do the arms require different seal kits , as i have been informed that i would have to have a special seal made for the arm ram.

I would imagine most seals would be off the shelf from any good bearings and drives supplier or hydraulics supplier.

I can't remember, some seal kits are interchangeable across the machine. The diameter of the cylinder tube and the rod should give a clue. Vicary Plant would be able to tell you and most probably supply.

Hi, just been in the same situation whilst replacing bucket, ram and back actor seals. After a speak with Vicary Plant I measured the ram and outer housing they sorted it from there. Really good to deal with too. Landed today so fingers crossed!
I think you need part 991/00003 but please do check first.

Check out DLI Seals in Durham as the company in Dublin I dealt with used them as the experts for finding and sizing the seals.

My seal kit I used was 991/00003 (batch no. A65253)
