Hi all, am newbie to the forum, cheers to all for sharing their knowledge.
I have just bought a 3C mk11 to use round the farm, the previous owner had it for 35yrs. It runs ok for its age & the use its had but there are a few small issues with it I would like to fix. First I want to give it a service but have no operators or workshop manual to guide me through it. I dont seem to be able to download any from here, is there a reason for this ? I need to get it serviced before I start using it but have no idea e.g. what fluids I need or how much to pour in once changed. Where are all the greasing points that are'nt obvious. The do's & donts when using machine ?

Hi Paul and welcome I am sure that there are those on here who will offer you some good advice; can I ask exactly which downloads you had trouble with? I can get Holger to look at this.

Re: 3C mk11
If the transmission has been overhauled you will get hours of use from that and I doubt you would want to return to a manual. We had a 1970 model for about 3 years in the late 80s and it would push well with the right conditions and right gear. You probably know all this but that era has a bit of delay after selecting fwd or rev. You get used to that. I would say keep an eye on the oil and change periodically. Don't push too high a gear, don't anyone to change direction when still rolling and don't prolong convertor stall. Sorry if that is teaching egg sucking.
