1990 3CX with wobbly legs!

Post #1 by Rothers » Wed Aug 29, 2018 10:04 am

Morning,

My 1990 JCB 3CX has quite a lot of lateral movement on the stabiliser legs when jacked up.

I am aware the later models have wear pads that can be changed but this model does not.

Is the only solution to weld some pads on the inside of the leg housing or can anyone suggest an alternative remedy please?

Thanks in advance.

Sam.

That is exactly what they do weld extra matal onto the legs to take up the play, There are a few inner legs for sale on Ebay but as they are used the chances are that they will be the same.
