Thanks. I think it would be cheaper to have the glass cut locally. I’ve emailed one company for a quote.
Thankfully we got the 6 metres of concrete in today. Just waiting for it so we can power float it, then off to in-laws for a roast dinner

Where does the tacho drive cable go to? I need to replace mine as the end at the dash was cut off. No idea where the other end terminates though!

Take you time fitting it, if i were you i would use a new rubber seal and get it warm and flexible put it in hot water for a little whil. Then it's the usual piece of string and someone on the outside putting some light pressure on the glass as you pull the string. Enjoy!

Re: My JCB 3C mk2
I managed to get it in very easily, even using the old rubber. I always fit the rubber to the frame and then push the rubber from behind put so the glass pops in. Was shown that tequnique by a glass fitting firm when they did it on my mini. The string approach tends to pull the trim away from window edges. So I now use this method on all my classics with that type of rubber. I did pickup some new locking strip though as the old one was in about 30 pieces lol

Great job and a good tip too thanks, i remember putting the back window in my 911 targa when i rebuilt it years ago, All the experts said you can't o it which then turned it into a challenge which i won. Have you got it fully glazed up now or do you still need more glass. It certainly makes a lot of difference when you have not got the weather and exhaust fumes coming in the cab
