Re: 3CX White Cab Restoration Madness & Questions
Because i am an idiot, moving the thing at night with the bucket off, the front bucket swivel arms dug into the ground and bent both swivel arms badly and the brackets that hold them. Anyone any experience in straightening hydraulic arms or is it a throw them in the scrap metal corner, get them rebuilt, or buy new?

Oh that is a bugger. I think you have a couple of, choices: 1 take them to a hydraulic shop and have new rods made. New seals fitted at the same time.
Need a price first.
2 source some 2nd hand from somewhere like Vicary Plant. See breakers on ebay sometimes.

Ooops........ Those would straighten in a press but it would only be temporary. They will bend again especially if you have the bucket turned fully over and the front of the digger lifted off the ground when digging. Two replacement rods and seal kits required really.

Re: 3CX White Cab Restoration Madness & Questions
Have found the brackets from Vicarys. Might see if I can get two rams while I'm at it but have lined up a local marine place to re rod and reseal them just in case.
I know I should probably give up and call the local scrap merchant to come get her, but my general opinion on this stuff is they dont make them like they used to. It's hard to find "analogue" machines like this anymore so I generally find machinery you can diy at home, especially with your help online, to be priceless.
Shame about the bana'ram'as (boomerams?) as they were zero leaks and were one of the few things on the f*%king thing that weren't broken...

I have a 3cx the same as yours with the BMC engine. One door being welded at minute and need two new frames for side glass, anyone any ideas where I can get these ? I live just outside Dundalk so not that far away from you.

I think it has been mentioned that one way around the side window frame is to dispense with frame an bond in pre cut laminated glass.
