hi Guys
The 1987 JCB 3cx that I use down our local stables decided to give up the ghost this morning and early indications after taking the rocker cover off is that it is a total strip down, it's snapped two cam followers and the tappets have come up on one piston. Does anybody know where I could get a replacement perkins engine from? I think it is a 4.236?
Thanks
Ian

Re: JCB 3cx replacement engine
You might see them come up on ebay from time to time but they do seem more scarce now. I wonder if the later flat top (Phaser) Perkins series would fit or perhaps to many mods required? They were used in the Grey cab 3CX IIRR.
