If you have a look on ebay you can buy High Temperature spray glue (as used for trimming vans, campers, caravans etc). It is a specialist auto trimmer glue in an aerosol that wont lose its properties when your cab roof gets sunburnt! Real easy to use. One can will be enough.
I should get my project finished in March so will post some pics when I get back from France. It has taken a little longer than planned.....
