Hi All
My Grey Cab MC 339xxx does not seem to have a Hydraulic Cooler?
It has a transmission oil cooler at the base of the Rad engine side, how is the hydraulic oil cooled then?
Thanks
Bill

There isn't a hydraulic cooler as such. You might have a power steering cooler built into the side of the radiator which would be cooling hydraulic oil but only through the steering circuit. My white cab doesn't have a transmission cooler,PS oil cooler or hyd cooler but I would think things moved on from that era. It only has a torque oil cooler in front of the radiator, that oil being seperate from the transmission. Might be wrong but doesn't the later syncro shuttle box use one oil for both gearbox and TC and thus your trans' cooler will cover both?

hi,
the grey cabs only had a hydraulic cooler fitted if they had hammer circuits fitted, if my memory is correct

It does seem strange that these older machines do not have a hydraulic cooler, as even a Belle hydraulic pack has a one of these. Only thing I can think of is that the hydraulic circuit is that big that it cools enough by the time it gets back into the system from the hydraulic oil tank.
