Hi Geoffrey, machine looks like an 1968 3Cmk2, first of the mk2's, i think i am right in saying that they only made this style for about a year, the story goes, drivers complained about cab, as 3c mk1 operators were bashing their heads on the windscreen, as they were used to front sloping windows, so they brought out the new improved version, with front sloping windows and altered design around the toolbox/fuel filler, with an improved middle step... which stayed through out the mk2' models.

As for tyre pressure, you might answer in here.

Just lately there have been a couple of the later 3c mk2 cabs on Ebay in fairly reasonable condition i am pretty sure that the later type will fit, they are only held on with 4 or 6 bolts.

Martyn Henley is back! Great to see you posting on here again.

This would have to be an early 69. This style of 3C with the triangle refuelling door and door step was the standard style of 1968. 1969 heralded the change to the more typical body style of the mk2 3C.
