JCB 3Cmk2 WIndow rubber

Post #1 by Boober » Sat Jul 25, 2015 3:52 pm

I am looking for the window rubber for the 2 sliding windows that fit on the right side of the cab. I believe there is a aluminum strip in the rubber for the windows to slide on. Any help is always appreciated.

I would contact a plant glazing company to get the rubber trim, although i picked up some rubber trim on EBay for my old massey, the insert that goes in is also available on ebay (although its not chrome) as is the tool for inserting it, get the new rubber warm and use some soapy water, a nice long piece of chord and then the swearing starts lol :D

Thank you for the replies. I tried looking on the different Ebay sites and cannot find anything. I must not be wording it correctly. Not to many of these great old machines on the go around here but I wish to get the cab snow proofed before winter.
If you see these on a ebay site can you show me a link please? Will keep on looking. Thanks

Had similar issue with our JCB 3C Mk 3, just rang the local plant glazier, all sorted for less than £100.
