A friend in Sweden has a JCB 3CX-4.
He is looking for information on the oil for the converter, how much oil should there be filled in?
What oil should be used?
Where is the oil stick located?
Anybody?

Re: JCB 3CX-4
Only ever used ATF Dextron II in mine.(not 4x4) Hasn't give bother in 19 years of owning it! Might depend on the age of his but I think it will need 11 litres from empty. Dipstick tube is also the filler and should be located to the front/right of the battery. Dip oil with the engine idling.

Re: JCB 3CX-4
This subject comes up quite regularly on here. It would seem that the early Borg Warner models require a 10w oil or a SUTTO and the later ITL/JCB transmissions require an ATF type oil.
