Hello folks

Yesterday I replaced the fuel tubes if they were broken.
But how i can bleed the fuel system?
The injection pump sucks air by the defekt fuel tubes

On the fuel filter there is one large bolt/bleed screw facing radiator loosen that then pump fuel by using the hand lever on the fuel pump on the side of the engine until fuel comes out of the bleed screw then tighten it .Next go to your fuel pump you will see two small bleed screws one on the top and one on the side presuming its a rotary pump.open top screw first bleed it up by using hand lever on fuel pump tighten it then do side screw the same. undo all injector nuts and bleed up to the injectors by turning engine over on starter untill diesel comes out of nuts tighten them up and it should be bled up if you have no leaks.

Pipi you need to make sure that you have good air tight connections before trying to bleed the fuel system or you will not succeed if you are sucking air and not fuel.
Once you have bled the lower pressure side slack off the pipes to the injectors and spin the engine over; as you see fuel start to leak off from each injector pipe quickly tighten the connection back up and the engine should start.

Pumping with the hand primer or lift pump you should have a strong flow. If not suspect air being drawn in or possible blockage/restriction. Have you changed the filter/s and cleaned out the separator (glass bowl)? I cannot remember but there may be a gauze in the system either in the lift pump or the separator. With good flow at the main injector pump you might get away with cracking off (loosening) just one injector pipe.

I had replaced the tubes with clear fuel tubes so ich can see how much air was in the fuel tubes. ^^


Is it the srew on the top or on the side?


Are those two screws the blood srews?
And what was the use of the bowden control in the circle A?

the rear one is a bleed screw the other bleed screw is at the other side at the rear of the throttle arm. bowden cable may be a cold start what fits under pump but dont worry about it.

In the afternoon i have found the tree blood screws
I bleed the System but I dont bleed the injector pipes because the battery was too weak for long starting moves ^^
Tomorrow I want to continue.

What was the major use of the two controll lamps?

And the oil pressure gauge does not work.
I follow the pipe and saw that he was cut down
But I dont know where the pipe was conectet on the engine?

Hi i think the lights are charging and oil pressure
the oil pressure gauge fits to the rear of the engine on the left hand side
