Its a Whitlock.

Plenty of info on the various models in this thread on here:-

Anything Whitlock ( Diggers, dump trucks, cranes et al )

Is that based on a Nuffield? I always thought the Whitlocks used Ford skids.

Think that when Ford had a prolonged strike both JCB and Whitlock switched to BMC skid units.
