Hi,
I seem to remember the discs were exactly the same as the Priestman 120 / 108S too.
Pretty sure those were 6 1/2 ".
The early ones had riveted linings but the later ones were bonded if I remember rightly.
I think you can still get the discs or relining kits from Agriline Products pretty reasonable.

The actuator is still available, plus most parts and disks.

Have just seen in the workshop manual that the brake discs up to m/c no.129502 were 6.5'' x 3.5'' and from m/c no.129503 were 7'' x 4''. Both dry systems.

HI
Thanks for the info , I removed the brake drum cover tonight and they are 6.1/2 inch in diameter , in good condition as well just some dust ( asbestos and all the precautions) which i washed out ok no trace of oil and only slight glazing of surfaces just need a rub up with emery paper and reassembly .then the other side to do might as-well jet was off the transmission and both sides of paint floor while i am at it ,only needed to drill out one floor bolt as well not bad for a 42 year old machine .
one question should copper slip be applied to the splines or not !
regards
Mick

The manual says not to. I was tempted to do it, but apparently it will cause dust to stick to the splines.

This guide should help you with the brakes... http://www.thenuffieldandleylandtractorclub.co.uk/wp/wp-content/themes/nuffield/images%20two/Dry%20brake%20servicing.pdf
