jcb 3c 111 powertrain back actor oil refil
hi all new to the forum just purchased a 3c for scrap money,been trying to change gear oil in back actor,do you refill it through the allen bolt or through the bolt with the overflow pipe i cant seem to get any oil in after takeing allen bolt out any advise i would be gratefull,also the brakes are crap they are the dry brake type,i was also wondering how to drain the torque converter all the oil dont seem to come out.

Is there a plate with a small pipe bolted to it, if so take the plate off and fill the oil through there.

I believe the very early Power Train build 5 were dry brakes and dry brakes seem generally to be poor. I think the dry brakes also had adjusters accessed thro the cab floor.

tried adjusting so they just lock on, then take took them back 1 turn, no brakes at all.although when i try and bleed them theres pleanty of fluid coming out of the bleed screws.
