Hi there! New to the forum and have been learning a lot looking at previous posts.Busy renovating an old 3c111 with a 498NT engine.Solved most hings so far but am struggling with the tacho. The cable is in a mess and I cannot locate where it attaches near the injector unit. Can anyone help with either a photo or a description of where to look please? I know that it probably should have a right angle drive but I just don't seem to see any possible point of connection.Could it be blanked off??
Thanks for the help and the great forum
David

Re: JCB 3c111 Tacho problems
If it's a 3C 111 with a 4'98 leyland engine if its got a inline injection pump the cable runs from the back of the pump. But it should have a rotary pump, the tacho cable runs from the front of the engine, on the timing cover it should have a angle drive.
