Quite lengthy and there might be some parts which will induce a smile or cringe.

That's a cracking dismount technique, if I tried that I'd forget the hole I'd just dug.
That's exactly how my dad used to go to work when he was a digger driver, blue overalls, collar and tie.
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

My Father often wore a tie at work during the 60s and 70s. Hse would question the dismount! Most of probably not fit enough to spring like that.

I wonder if he was an ex-para, well practiced in exiting a dc3 in a hurry?

Great find! When a new machine turns up on site now it barely gets a look, but compared to what was available before it must have been an amazing sight to see these new JCBs at work. If I tried to get out of the cab like that I'd need the back actor to put me in the ambulance!!

Every time you throw the lever and shift the back acter on the rails of a 3c2 or later from the operators seat, just remember this video and what a great improvement the hydraclamp really was :)

Won't argue with that, my first JCB was a Major based 3c, it was a real dinosaur but still a hell of a lot better than a pick and shovel!

'Allez-Oop'

Looks like one of John Cage's dismounts from Ally McBeal...

I'd go with ex-army PT instructor or ex-RAF gymnastic display team over ex-Para ;)
