ho folks here is som old photos from stoke on the a 500 stoke and the 637 is on THE M5 THORNTON HAMPSHIRE MINE is the one whit push and pull lol verner :rockon:

Great old photos.Verner, thanks for sharing them with us. :thumbup: Seeing the number plates on the scrapers :think: is a reminder of how we used to tramp the roads with the things.(TheGood Old Days) :lol:

gr8 pics, did ya know Dave Southall ( SACKUM) ?, he worked for dick hampton for years, in fact he settled in stoke in the late 70s

No-one thought to fit a mirror on scrapers in the early days. Might have saved a few twisted necks too.
