Great pictures and a nice change from Cats and Euclids / Terexes Just needs a LeTourneau or two to balance things up!
Brentwood by-pass early 60s.

More memories. Ohare Field Chicago 1960 large job, 46 scrapers as remember 24 hours a day. There were 6 IH 295 scrapers, word on job was they were preproduction 295's, cable control. Occasionally would see white shirts inspecting machines. The IH factory at that time was not far from Ohare. A six wheel IH appeared one night, think was model 495 don't recall it being on job very long. Also a Allis Chalmers 460 appeared one night, one and only I ever saw working. Didn't stay long as remember. There were numerous AC 360 about during that era. An aside, had a thrilling experience of aiming a wore out 360 a few years latter. The Ohare spread was Cat 20, 21, Euc 6 wheelers and double barrels.
