Here's a couple of shots I took on a site back in the early 70s. The scraper is an IH295 & it's being pushed by a Terex 82-30 dozer. I'm sorry they're not clearer but I wasn't & still aren't much of a photographer & I only had an old camera. They're rare & they're there though.

Thanks for the pics, I came along too late to see many IH scrapers at work or Terex dozers. My neighbors down the road had a whole fleet of machines they let sit from the time they closed down in the 80s. They had an amazing 295E selfloading scraper. I have run an 11 yard Deere 762 selfloader sine I was 14. I got to walk around the 295 and still to this day cant get over the size of the bowl. I hated to see them cut it up a few years ago. I couldnt look at it when I drove by the local scrap yard.

Can't help with an E295, but here are a few pics of an E270 I saw a few years ago in Lincoln, Nebraska.

These photos were taken when I was working as a site engineer for McAlpines on the Wirral. They were owned by a company called Casey and I think they must have been fairly local as the scrapers were tramped to the site. The project was either a school or sports centre - not sure of exact location as it's about 40 years ago - anybody know any more about these machines. From memory they seemed to be pretty reliable.
