Scraper job in Stockholm

Here are some pic's of my friends D8R seriesll and 463.
This is the first scraper job in Stockholm for over 30 years! :)
My friend told me that there have been alot of people there watching.
Me included! hehe
Wouldnt miss it, did take an day off just for this!!

just one query- would it be a better job to remove the front blade?

Hi Neil,
The job is abit short to take the blade off, job duration is just about 3 week's and the he need's the blade from time to time as he is alone at that site.

Hej Peter!
Is it a light in the tunnel, mayby there are some that understand what we can do whith a tractor and scraper???
We have just showed some, what a dragline can produce. Lets hope the "good old times come back".

Hej Anders,
My friend Peter have this job togeather with VSM and they have allready been talking of another job! :thumbs_up:
So there could be a light in the tunnel!!
But younger supervisors need's to be educated better........they have to learn what an scraper is, what an dozer is,what an dragline is and what an track loader is!!

great pics :claphands: ,i've just realised that the ripper is still attatched to the D8 :dizzy: .I haven't seen that before,infact,I didn't know it was possible!!That makes your tractor very usefull.

I'm gonna give my friend an call tomorrow, the scarper part of the job is complete so I will know if it go as planned.
I think it did, due to what my friend say's it went great.
The scraper will be parked again, next job is just dozing.
But I think and my friend also think's that there will be more work for the 463!
