Mission control

Two S-7 Eucs at a show early Sept. Did not speak with either owner, from past know of the powershift machine owner, that machine appeared to have been completely rebuilt, even had new tires. Exhaust clear in operation. For scraper fans, mission control of a stickshift and powershift machine.

Hi here is my faithful crash box version! Getting use to it now bit of a handful,would love to have a go on semi auto.

Hi John,
Appears to be a few versions of these scrapers. Early 1960's worked for golf course contractor had S-7's remember clutch as in picture of stickshift I posted, different from yours, is your clutch slave cylinder operated. Also remember shift lever like yours with no air valve. Also we had pedestal seats like yours vs air ride as in earlier pictures. Its possible spec sheets might be available on HECA site. Searched around there a bit but need to better understand how to use archive area. Think all had 4-71 engines though, anyway in US.

Hi Wayne, yes mine is slave cylinder operated so double de clutching needed! I was a bit doubtful about the seat post I thought it was not original,the way the seat is mounted is not correct I think,I would of thought there might be some adjustment, anyway i will be making some adjustments.There was an option in the parts listing of a suspended seat of sorts!! The motor is a Leyland 600.

Good one Clive, you buy stuff from Benny White do you. I'm not familiar with him. Good looking truck John, it is older than scraper am guessing. Air ride seats could well have been available in that era as options, all can remember were solid mount. Your scraper was UK manufacture assume, is Leyland a two stroke cycle engine. Back in those days we had a saying, the first drop hits you the Lords fault, second drop hits you its your fault. So rarely saw machines with windshield wipers, or is it wind screen. But have seen Trico motors on other equipment.
