They where taken in 1993, started of with a JCB, and ended up with a large fleet of Cats.

I was told that Derek Keys of Uro Auctions bought the yard to store new unused Hyundai and Daewoo/Dousan excavators from which he bumps a few through the auctions every now and again.
Thanks Noel for the photos

Great pics again Noel. They are using the right sized pusher for 627's.D8's can strugle a bit with those.D8L or 155 or D9G/H is ideal for them.
More pleeeese

Just a thought, did Elliots ever do any work in England, as I once had a night-mare posting to work on a site firstly stripping off the topsoil then doing a cut and fill, the material was the snag it was chalk with flint in, as we filled the box's sparks would be shooting off the edges, then as we travelled to the tip, this chalk would turn into a trifle/jelly substance that was nearly imposible to shove out or travel on top of, I was working for P. Strange Pipeline Equipment, he had supplied a Co' called Elliots with 3 D8's and 1 D7+ box's, I was the fitter on site and kept all the kit working including the Elliot tractors when the rain started everything seemed against us as every box had to be push loaded and chased out of the dig, and at a bad point on the site the D7 had to button up to keep them moving, sometimes we tipped the box's over to get the jollop out, the worst thing was the state we looked by knock off time , white ghost's

Just thought of the site details, the job was at Basingstoke and the site owners name was I think Kingston Minerals,???
