the photo's i promised to post of me,martin barrat,billy quirk and dave southhall,i was on a 631B for dougal McCgregor dave was on a d8 and box for boundary plant,we where on hire to R and A young strip mining

hi, gr8 pics of sackum, i used to do some welding for McGregor untill i realised i was neva gonna get paid so i took him to court n' got my ££££ + costs.

Hi Graham, I have it on good authority the 68A now fixed and the job is progressing well. You'll have a job to find a better scraper driver these days than Steve Burgess! The 68A is his, that K belongs to Martin Atkins. :D

i hope to get down there today for a look again if work go's ok ;) i am off to crawley to fetch lorry ,redhill to get jcb 3cx ,then of to wokingham to swap with my 590 case ,then to winchester to breadys yard for them to put right what they got wrong :dizzy: and then back to faygate ,your name did pop up in conversation with martin ,i have some more footage that i will put on youtube later

hi all you old muckshifters.Its good to see some of the old names mentioned I worked for dick for a good number of years, they were some of the best years of my working life.I worked with young mash,aka Brian Ruan. Jammy Haynes.the goose. Derek slim Brooks.sprout picker. Wes Cooper.>sackem.Johnny Lyklyk.Johnny took a chance on me in1968.he threw me into the saddle told me which levers to pull and of I went on forty years of s--tkicking.And happy years too I met great friends some Im still in touch with.some have gone to that great spoil heap in the sky. like Chyanne. Pat Wiesner. I have a few photos I will post as soon as I have learnt how. I have only had my computer two weeks. Ill be back. Poncho.
