Re: Euclid scraper
Nice scraper too bad he had alot of info wrong should have been an S7 and thedisplacement is 284 CI on a 4-71 Detroit. Dad started out on one here for a local contractor. He said they were tipsy and of the governor went out on them in a 90 degree turn they would flop over on their backs. They had one rebuilt and dad left out from the shop with it and got about 5 miles down the road going to a job on a damsite in Tennessee. Al of a sudden the governor went out and he took a ride. He gougedthe pavement and finally spun the tractor down on the shoulder but the motor seized. He said they were great rigs on smaller roads in the county. Im looking for one now but sadly most go changed over to tractor drawn units.
