I don't imagine it was nice to drive but you can't beat a nice S21 micky mouse to look at.

There were a few gems amongst the preserved commercial vehicles at the Chipping Steam Fair, one of which is this ex-Pickfords experimental bonneted Atki. Only problem I had was that the sun was in the wrong part of the sky for snapping the trucks and they were also parked far too close to one another which defeats the object of displaying them in my mind :dizzy:
The only way I could get the shot was having my back pressed tightly against the vehicle next to the Atki.
The other picture I am posting here is a rare Seddon 25 van, not too sure how many were made or how many are left?

Great pics, again Jeremy, I'd forgotten that Seddon had made vans.
Sorry about the sunburn. :)

I don't remember seeing a Seddon van. The Aki looks, well experimental.

Hi Pete,
I do remember the vans.
There were probably very few of those six wheel drawbar tractors made :?: :?: I see that one is 1964 reg.
I loaded many machines onto Pickfords bonneted Atki lowloaders circa 1970. They were four wheelers but I'm pretty sure there was also at least one Atki 6x4 artic tractor running out of Pickfords Cardiff at the time.

Yes Pete according to the owner the Atki was one of a few experimental trucks built and Fred is correct in saying that there was also the four wheeler Atki tractors I am sure that I have posted a pic of one in this thread somewhere but I will repost it here anyway.

Came across these pair of Scania trucks yesterday at Halesowen town centre; there was some kind of celebration on in the town centre and these two were parked up on display, it was absolutely peeing down of rain when I took these pics.
