Circus arrived in town this week , for Peter Jollys Circus the clock seems to have stopped in 1975 with a load of Ford D series to add to their ERF / Fodens !

Actually its another interesting 1970s throwback a Russian Belarus , from the days when they use to export their poor products at crazy low prices. Tinwork seemed to dissolve overnight and they had a very funny combined front drive shaft / kingpin arrangement. Looks like it may be British cab though.

A real step back of .......... bl**dy hell 35+ years.
I suppose all those trucks are fixable with old skills providing a part can be found.

The Belarus looks like it has a Duncan cab. A truly nasty looking machine. (Sorry to any fans). A small farmer I knew had one new in the late 70s and they gave him his money back more or less to sell him a new one three years on.

Yes think there were 3 Fodens all with the big headlights, 2 ERF KV? cabs , 6 Ford D series ( unusual as fairground trucks ) the Belarus and a series 11 Landrover.

Indeed Graham that caught my eye too  the Foden and one of the ERF's had a nice slick beneath them...................... my kind of being environmentally freindly (give a bit back to mother nature)
