777's repaired and ready for work, loaded up and going out on the day before a bank holiday weekend........
Luckily (for the public, not for me), Strathclyde police won't allow us to run them on Friday or over the Bank holiday weekend, so they're on there way to Preston for the weekend, then onwards on Tuesday.
Sorry if anyone gets caught up in the wake of them today!!

Great pictures as always, Stuart, Thank you.
Am I right in thinking when those 777's arrived in Cannock, they were transported minus the outer rear wheels, if so then wondering why they're now OK with them, presumably not a width thing.

Re: 777D's rolling out of the yard.........
Hello there John,
You're correct, when the trucks came in the rear outer wheels were removed, this was to reduce the width as we put the trucks on a ship and sailed them from Oban to Troon, with the outers on they were too wide for the jetty, also, the skips were fitted with greedy boards, so the front wheels had to be removed to reduce the running height of the load.
With the greedy boards removed the trucks can be hauled with the front wheels on.
Depending on where you're moving them to, you can get away with leaving the outers on, but if you're moving through tight lanes the additional width with the outers on can get you caught up.
