Just found this in my collection:
Sticker on the back states: The Scammel 100 ton machinery transporter passed into the hands of several operators during its long life and is here seen working for Edward Box & Co Ltd., carrying a very large 10 coupled steam locomotive for Turkish railways. (A Beyer Peacock)
A stamp on the back states that the photograph has been issued by Scammel Lorries of Watford and may be reproduced for publicity purposes with acknowledgment of source.
No date or location is given.
The distinctive street lighting and the temperance shop may be a clue.
Tone
100 ton on four axles
