When I worked for Beck and Pollitzer in the 60s it was amazing just what the "heavy gangs" could do with steel plates, skates, dodgers (rolling crowbars), timbers and Monkey winches , Pulllifts and Tirfors.

JR, credit to the lads for messing about with what they had in the way of kit to draw out that chunk and get it loaded, in the past I have done the same stunts to remove/ install plenty of oil dripping lumps working under the title "You Dont Want it Where We Cannot Put it" but these days the Versalift with the Riggers Boom would uplift cart out and load that little lump in 30 mins, so that job was at a lower price due to the roller bar and skate team giving it a pop, the move could have been made more fun at the point with the steer skate going into jamb up mode, its sort of sad to see the struggle in some ways, but good to see it done like the old Pickford way with packing timber jacks and skates.
