Just wondered how the tractor units for heavy haulage differ from normal ones, how do you work around the normal max weight limits? And what is STGO cat3 on the Daf unit?

PS, I notice that it's the Sandbach Festival of Transport next weekend, I thought I might toddle over with the E12 - anyone else going?

Regards Julian.

Steve most preserved railways have a "Thomas" and have special event "Thomas days" its a great money maker for them as it gets whole familys down to their particular railway.
Here's an 0-6-0 Jinty tank loco thats had the Thomas treatment running yesterday minus its daft plastic Thomas face at the MRC Butterly.
