Thanks Pete :thumbup: still not a common sight; I would imagine they were fitted with the Cummins V8 engine then as with all the later 'D' Series models fitted with a Perkins V8 as the Cummins gave so much trouble. Naturally the lighter weight trucks were all fitted with Ford's own 2700 series engines.

Nice early 580C in the first photo and a late 401 Rolls powered Sed Atk. :thumbup: in the third photo, probably a 290L and not the more common 265L.
