Wonder what the drag line is doing in the botto picture
At first glance it looks like a back actor (a cable operated backhoe) but then when I look it I cant see a trench or a boom of any description
Maybe its old eyes looking at a small screen??

Nice Hymac photos Steve
the top one is a Hymac 590 then either a 580 or 580B and a 580C on the low-loader.

One with the Routeman is not too far from me. VJM ran the odd one until the late 80s.

Nice one Steve
a Hymac 580C in a bit of unauthorised bridge demolition
good job nobody was walking across it at the time; and a Hymac 590 hiding behind the wrecked Ergo cabbed concrete mixer I wonder where that photo was taken?

Some times you look at some of these photos and wonder just 'how did that happen?' That's my thoughts at looking at the tipper trailer stuck under the side of the bridge?
