We used to see a few bonneted Maggie 6 wheelers around this area. They had a very distinctive sound.
Going back to the earlier photos, I wonder how the Bedford KMs fared on dump truck duties?

Going back a couple of posts, Is the red Morriseau truck a Ginaf?
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Hadn't thought of that, and I think you're right. I was trying to read the name on it but couldn't get it to focus.

2nd from last in the quarry with the wooden barrows; chap on the plank looks like he's about to empty his barrow onto the poor sod standing underneath with his hands on his hips...Guess he was the gaffer then ;)

Interesting set of photos :thumbup: the third one shows a Hymac 580/B fitted with a 'hard dig' very short dipper arm :thumbup: the wheeled dozer in the first photo looks an interesting beast. :thumbup:
