And the Smith 21 being loaded / unloaded in the quarry - it is either approaching, or has just negotiated, that part of the trip where the operator wonders if this time they're going to go straight ahead or off at a tangent..........

I wonder how the crane turned on side? Perhaps too fast on a bend. It looks like an ambulance in attendance. Today there would be many police at an rta before the ambulance?

Pete I don't think that photo tells the whole story by a long way? Perhaps the crane suffered a front tyre blow out on the side we cannot see and that caused it to go over? Whatever a whole load of unwanted grief for somebody.

Looks like there are marks on the road that suggest it may have done a bit of a 180 once on it's side, but could a TK get enough speed to do that?
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Love the 220 Mustang loading the Leyland Freighter looks like the crane slewed round in the first photo and fetched it off the trailer?
