Norman It's a Hymac 880 and I would guess that it was on a demolition job where the operator happened to be working over an unknown void that collapsed under the machine tipping it over?

Nice pics Steve especially the 880 on its side and the early 580C photo, the wheeled machine is a 610 with the raised cab. :thumbup:

I thought it was on it's side, but couldn't recognise the cab as being on it's side. (Maybe time for Specsavers).

The cab looks to have survived remarkably well, mind you she is resting on the dipper arm so perhaps that's why the cab survived okay? If you look at the cab then look at a frontal shot of my 580BT you should be able to recognise the cab. :thumbup:
