I've never had any dealings with 8 wheelers, so in the Corbett tippers photo, is it chance that they both have steer tyres on the front axle and drive tyres on the second, or was there a reason for that?

Tarmac at Ettingshall, still there I believe, used to visit there every couple of weeks.
These photos were taken in the 2003 not far from Millfields road on the A41. There is a derelict canal 'freight transfer' yard, looks to have been well equipped and laid out for timber perhaps. According to streetview in 2022 still untouched. I've no clue as to what I was doing there to take the pics or why. Hope they're of interest.

If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

Only a few years apart but the Atkinson looks decidedly '50s alongside the Seddon Atkinson.

The Cargo and footbridge reminds of an accident on the A127 near Southend in the 70s. The driver of a farm tipper was sadly killed when the pto had been left engaged and the ripping spool inadvertently moved. The raised body had the bridge down and crushed the cab. Terrible for all concerned and sadly the family had to move from tied accommodation in that era.

Rob that canal transfer basin does still exist today, I have very vague recollections that part of that site was used during my childhood but I can't give any details.

Is there any story to the house move?
The picture of the Regent petrol station, there's a couple of interesting dumpers lower right. Any idea of the location?
Is the catherderal Coventry?

The Regent petrol photo; there looks like a truck mounted Jones KL crane too.

I wonder for what reason the coloured gravel pit drawing was produced?
