The Foden tipper on balloon tyres looks looks a bit odd, bet that was fun to drive with no power steering!

Somebody managed to get both the Hy-mac's bogged in the first four photo's :wtf: the Poclain on the back of the Volvo low-loader in the sixth photo is an RC200. :thumbup:

A Seddon Atkinson Stratos. I've put a few miles on one of those. Can't remember what engine but I do recall a twin splitter trans. Not everyone's cup of tea but I liked it.
If a LandRover doesn't leak oil, it's run out.

You don't see loading shovels on street scenes these days! Looks like a Fordson Super Major perhaps with a Shawnee Pool dump trailer.
The yellow Leyland perhaps a conversion from a unit?

I would agree with you Pete on both those points.

It is surprising how many 4x2 tractors that were used for transporting plant in those days. They are certainly not so common today even for general haulage.
