Very interesting; an early Hymac 580 in the first photo, it has the two right hand control levers close to each other, the one was for the slew and the other for the auxiliary, then an early 70's 580C with the early type boom, and in pic 9 an early Poclain 60 rubber duck.
The Sed/Atk 400 must have been virtually brand new in that photo because the wiper blades are level and haven't started to sag with worn linkages yet, note the Bedford CA van behind it and the corner of a Mk111 Cortina at the right of the photo.
Wonder if the Foden was Aussie spec or Kiwi spec? Certainly not UK spec.

Scammell showing off a bit of torque twist. The Commer looks totally out of it's depth there, couple that to the knocker engine and you weren't going to 'sneek' anywhere. Would 2 silencers really make any difference?
The D series is almost identical to the one in the County tractor video.

Is the D series a 6x6 County conversion? The front tyres look off road type and it sits quite high.

The Weatherill may be the model powered by the Roots 2 stroke as well. Great sound on a retro video but I would imagine horrible working all day with one.

Just realised the Scammell Handyman is a Killoughery restoration. They have several apparently. I was chatting to one of their regular drivers a few years ago, he had done some driving for Killoughery on the old trucks.

Fantastic sounding engines Pete but you wouldn't want to work one with a hangover or headache.
