Nice one Steve :thumbup: the Derruppe machine looks an interesting machine; looks like it could be driven from two places? The Hy-mac 580T one of only five made if I correctly recall. :think:

It’s a Derruppe on the bed of the blue Berliet low loader as well - Certainly unusual :thumbup:

Steve; I had not spotted that one, looks very weird with the twin steering wheel setup, wonder if the back of the seat flipped over to let the operator use the other steering wheel? An oddball by all accounts, Derruppe were at one time owned by Poclain then later became part of the ill-fated IBH Group that Hy-mac became part of when Powell-Duffryn sold out to IBH.

Jeremy, I thought Poclain were taken over by the Case Corporation?

Yes Pete they were I think the Derruppe sell off came while they were under Case ownership but not 100% on that; I know that Derruppe were once owned by Poclain.

The first one does it for me, the McAlpine ERF with the chap on the motorcycle about to overtake but at that point in time no legal requirement to wear a crash helmet.
