I was working on a housing site in Ripon once and the Royal Engineers based there asked if they could do a lot of our initial earthworks for practice !
Go ahead my son , saved us a lot of money .
Maybe they are helping out at this harbour? / resort ?

A few years ago, in France, I watched a gang of 3 laying some ducting down the side of a village road. One man on the floor, a 13 ton excavator with a fully rotating/leveling grading bucket and a 6 wheel Renault with a multi tip body with auto locking sides and tail board. Tipping off the side saved so much time and effort. It seemed quite stable. The excavator driver then filled/ tidied up , the 3rd man wacked and swept up. Only had 2 men at work signs.

I guess that would have been a three way (ahem...) tip rather than a swivel body (oo err) type?
